Do you know a child who dreams about riding horses?
At Haile Equestrian, we believe horseback riding can EMPOWER children, making them more responsible and respectful. We specialize in horseback riding lessons and teaching horsemanship skills, as well as helping to enrich a child’s life. In today’s world it seems almost impossible to find safe activities for children that allow them to grow, learn, fail, and progress… or even make new friends. At Haile Equestrian, we teach young people to be caring, empathetic, attentive, build confidence, learn that failure is a necessary part of success, along with building commodore – all through the magic of being on the back of a horse. Horseback riding can even bring a shy child out of their shell.
Join Haile Equestrian’s partnership with Oak Hall School for a semi-private lesson series for riders ages 5-7. Horseback riding is a naturally socially distant, outdoor, open-air activity. Rides will be in a semi-private format with 3-4 riders in each session, catering to our younger riders. No riding experience is required, this lesson series is a great introduction to horses and riding.
Riders must complete a New Rider Packet for Haile Equestrian and appropriate riding boots are required (see Haile Equestrian Boot Guide for more information). Helmets are required when riding, students are welcome to bring their own or use helmets provided by Haile Equestrian.

Hello, my name is Simona German and I am a freshman at the University of Florida. I went to Oak Hall from Pre-K to 8th grade, and I am excited to come back as a beginner piano/clarinet teacher for the Lower School. I’ve been playing competitive piano for 14 years and clarinet for 11 years. I was the first place winner of the Piano Sonata Festival in the Foundation for the Promotion of Music Clubs in 2019 and 2020 and the first place winner in Piano Quartet & Clarinet Solo for the Florida Federation of Music Clubs State Competition in 2020. I am a 3 year FMEA All State Top Band clarinet player and a 4 year Alachua County Honor Band clarinet player, as well as being principle chair in the Alachua County Youth Orchestra for 2 years. I was also the clarinet section leader in my high school’s marching band. I look forward to sharing my experience and love for music with more young musicians.

– assessments and achievements in the Spring of each year
– online group classes students can attend
– VIDEO LESSONS made for your student if they can’t attend their lesson for any reason*
*Video lessons are made for the student by their teacher when they can’t make their lesson, in order to help the student have something new to learn and practice for the week so they continue to progress forward. We want to make sure the student stays motivated and confident.
With our group online lessons and many performances, students become part of a community and inspire each other. We can’t wait to work with your child and help them love music!
